True Grain Bread – Courtenay
True Grain Courtenay is Comox Valley’s connection to BC organic grain farmers. All of the flour for our European-inspired, handcrafted bread and pastries comes from BC-grown and BC-milled organic grain.
The Comox Valley has long been recognized as a place where the residents enjoy a high quality of life and are mindful of the natural beauty that surrounds them. When True Grain had the opportunity to continue on from Grains Bakery in 2017, we leapt at the chance to join the valley’s bustling farm-to-table scene.
Stop by for an organic French Croissant and a coffee, hang out for lunch on our patio (our flatbreads are a local favourite!), and take home a hearty wholegrain loaf or one of our popular sourdoughs. The bulk of our loaves are also vegan, a nutritious addition to a wholefood plant based diet.
True Grain’s commitment to the environment and simple healthy recipes without chemicals or added fat and sugars compliments the values of the Courtenay community and we look forward to further contributing to Vancouver Island’s vibrant food culture.
