Job Summary: Under supervision of the Head Baker, the Production Baker runs a full day’s production from start (mixing) to finish (baking) to fulfill the daily production requirements. Production Baker follows quality assurance, food safe, work safe policies and procedures and inventory rotation practices at all times.
Skill Level: Proficient in crafting bread, pastry, and other bakery products.
Qualification: High school or equivalent diploma. 2 plus years of active baking experience preferred, including experience with natural fermentation and sourdoughs from scratch, fundamental understanding of mixing, proofing and handcrafting bread, baguettes, and pastry, working with organic ingredients, loading, and unloading deck ovens. FoodSafe Level 1 certification preferred.
Hours of work: Early morning shift/Day shift, weekends required, depending on the team scheduling.
Other Considerations: Must be able to routinely lift to 50Lb. Must be able to stand, push, pull, squat, bend and reach during long shift. Must be tolerant to heat and flour dust.
Wage: Starting at $23 - $27 (commensurate with experience)
