THE BEER: We use Ghost Of Paddy Murphy Irish Red Beer from our friends at Deadhead Brew Co. in Duncan. This easy-drinking beer features subtle caramel, toffee, and toasted flavors. The hop aroma is low, earthy, and slightly floral, finishing with a pleasant nutty dryness. This delicious beer is perfect onto itself but an even more perfect partner to our St Patty's Beer Bread!
THE PROCESS: First we boil barley and make a roux. Then we soak the medley of seeds in beer. And make a starter of rye with beer. Then we put it all together, and add more beer. Mmm beer! It's a real labor of love and a 'must have' for your lively St Patrick's Day celebrations!
